About the School Our school is part of the International Studies and Foreign language department of the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Universidad de Buenos Aires is the largest and best known university in Argentina and is one of the most prestigious in Latin America. Universidad de Buenos Aires is located in busy downtown Buenos Aires, near Obelisk and the seat of the congress in Argentina, the Palacio del Congreso. CIC Argentina has Spanish Courses, volunteer and internships for everyone.  University students and older participants alike can experience this unique opportunity.  More than half our intake is older than college age, so no matter what your age, you too can enjoy a university life full of fun and enriching experiences.  We are the largest study abroad organization in Argentina, with 20-50 students each month joining our Spanish School and study abroad programs.  These students are strongly urged to get involved with, and amongst the local people.  Making friends with the locals is the number one way to improve your Spanish, and also makes for a memorable experience and some great stories for home! We also offer study abroad scholarships for our semester and summer programs, and Spanish language courses.  As well as this, you can also receive course credit for your courses.  All our university students that have taken a Spanish course or studies abroad with us have had no trouble transferring their credit.  We also encourage our participants to get involved in the community, volunteering at an orphanage or working with street children.  This will show you another life in South America.
