Mexico Ixtapa Location Ixtapa is located 240km North of Acapulco, in the Pacific Coast.  The town was built in 1970, as a resort town, 15km from the international airport. Ixtapa has a commercial area, as well as a marina, an 8-km bike track across the jungle.  There is so much to do here, including boat rides, snorkeling, or even enjoying a day at the beach tasting delicious seafood lunch in the restaurants.  Ixtapa is known for its variety of international and regional restaurants, which offer excellent value and service. The School Learning Spanish is fun when your classroom is the beach, the jungle, Mexican restaurants, the local market, the museum, or the gardens.  You will learn so much about the culture of Mexico, and be guided through the experience with our expert native tutors. We offer practical and efficient methods of teaching Spanish, and you will be amongst the culture, ordering your own meals, checking in at hotels, shopping and getting around the area.  You will soon be confident with all everyday activities and speaking Spanish in them! We offer a unique tour to the Guerrero mountains, which will enrich your experience of learning Spanish and understanding of the Mexican culture. The Programs We offer basic, pre-intermediate and intermediate levels of Spanish tuition.  Basic level aims at giving you the ability to visit any Spanish speaking country and get around as a tourist or visitor comfortably.  Pre-intermediate level starts to focus on writing, listening and reading comprehension, and the spoken word.  You will have the opportunity to interview people in the community, as well as consulting the media.  The Intermediate level focuses more on reading, writing and research at a more experienced Spanish language level. There are 4-10 students per group. Accommodation Homestay This is a great way to get immersed in the culture of the community.  Share the life and customs of a carefully selected welcoming Mexican family.  Hostel For students who want more affordable accommodation we recommend a number of friendly and typical hostels, for between $9 and $21 US per night. The Villas Paraiso Hotel This offers lodging to our students at affordable rates.  Accommodation is in a standard suite for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 12 years old.
